TWENTY-FIFTH JURIED OPEN EXHIBITION:
VISUAL ARTS ALLIANCE, P.O. Box 130703, Houston, TX 77219-0843 May 1 – June 5, 2008 Williams Tower 2800 Post Oak Blvd, Houston, TX 77056 JUROR: Ms. Sally Sprout has been an active professional working in the field of visual art for over thirty years. She has held a number of professional positions including Assistant to the Director, Sarah Campbell Blaffer Gallery, University of Houston, Curator of Collections and Exhibitions, Transco Energy Company and art consultant to a number of Houston-based corporations. As principal of Sally Sprout Fine Art, she is consulting curator to Hines Interests and directs the exhibition program at the Williams Tower Gallery. Ms. Sprout has also served on numerous boards for various organizations in her field including DiverseWorks Art Space and the Houston Center for Photography. She worked with the Smithsonian project, Save Outdoor Sculpture, and served on an advisory committee for the Houston Area Women’s Center. She has served as juror for numerous exhibitions and scholarship competitions. Ms. Sprout earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona, Tucson, and has been a resident of Houston, Texas since 1979.
